Applied Computational Intelligence for Finance and Economics
This article introduces some relevant research works on computational intelligence applied to finance and economics. The objective is to offer an appropriate context and a starting point for those who are new to computational intelligence in finance and economics and to give an overview of the most recent works. A classification with five different main areas is presented. Those areas are relat...
متن کاملA hybrid computational intelligence model for foreign exchange rate forecasting
Computational intelligence approaches have gradually established themselves as a popular tool for forecasting the complicated financial markets. Forecasting accuracy is one of the most important features of forecasting models; hence, never has research directed at improving upon the effectiveness of time series models stopped. Nowadays, despite the numerous time series forecasting models propos...
متن کاملAn automaton group: a computational case study
We introduce a two generated weakly branch contracting automaton group $G$ which is generated by a two state automaton on a three letter alphabet. Using its branch structure and the finiteness nature of a sequence of its factor groups we compute the order of some of these factors. Furthermore some algebraic properties of $G$ are detected .
متن کاملComputational plays in applicable ethics with an Islamic approach
Childhood and adolescence may be regarded to be the most sensitive periods with regard to education and playing is an essential need for children and adolescents. Today computational plays are the main rivals in their plays and take more than forty millions hours of our children and adolescent`s time daily. The researches performed on the destructive and useful effects of computational plays ha...
متن کاملA Computational Model of Reference MSc
This paper is an interdisciplinary study toward a theory of information status and representation of objects. The motivation is a computational problem: in Natural Language Generation, the task of Generating Referring Expressions (GRE) tacitly assumes that the referent is part of the user’s focus of attention and must be distinguished from other entities in that context. The generation of Heare...
